Hats off to Hong Kong for having one of the most efficient transport systems in the world. If you want to get somewhere, then this city has probably made multiple ways for you to get there at most hours throughout the day.
As a result of this very efficient transport system I now find myself becoming increasingly impatient if I actually do have to wait for something.
Jumping on the MTR towards midnight means that the trains are less and less frequent. So, if I find myself waiting on a platform faced with a screen that says 7 minutes until the next train, rather than the usual 2 or 3, I tend to start to feel a little angry, which isn’t really a good trait.
I don’t know how I’m ever going to go back to living on a road where the bus comes past into town once every hour and often doesn’t stop for you.
