You’d think that after a solid two decades of having the ability to walk, I’d have mastered it to the point of staying upright a higher percentage of the time than what I do. But you thought wrong.
Who really falls over on the way to work after slipping on some leaves and gets a gnarly scrape down their leg. Who then walks into a random apartment block in search of tissue to stop the bleeding only to have the guard gasp and run away. If said leg is still bleeding six hours later, who then has to go to the doctors and wrestle away a tetanus jab.
That would be me.
Note: Working with kids when you have a horrible scrape down your leg is a terrible ordeal. They will prod it at every given opportunity and this will probably double your healing time. All good things, all good things.
