There are often times when visiting other countries where you find yourself with something peculiar on your plate and no choice but to put it in your mouth. Perhaps that thing might be a baby trout complete with head and tail. Perhaps it might be sea eel. Perhaps it might be a live octopus. When it comes down to it, you don’t know you don’t like it if you haven’t yet given it the taste test. And in some cultures whether it passes the taste test or not, it’s still got to get down your throat.
