If, like me, your Christmas dinner was sitting on a street in the south of Taiwan munching on noodles with your friends, then you’ll agree that a traditional Christmas is well and truly a million miles away. But, praise the incredible brains of this world for allowing technology to have you virtually there with all of your family at the Christmas dinner table back in the UK. Yes, I did sit at the end of the dinner table on the screen of my Mum’s iPhone, eyeing up the gravy and roast potatoes and laughing at all the usual conversations that happen at our family gatherings alongside the terrible Christmas cracker jokes. It’s incredible that you can be so many miles away and are still able to hear your parents arguing over rhubarb chutney and your Grandpa going off on one about carrots whilst you play charades across the dinner table with your brother. What a brilliant Christmas it has been.
