So it’s science class and I was teaching my kids about plants, always an incredibly enjoyable topic. I decided to take them out into the garden to look at some plants/draw some plants/measure some plants (kill time). In said garden, there is an incredibly average looking water feature and pond/river type thing going on. In said average looking water feature lives a turtle, which I hadn’t discovered until one little boy pointed it out and then proceeded to follow it around. Of course, if one kid sees a turtle, every kid has to see the turtle, and more importantly still, the teacher also has to see the turtle. This event took up quite a substantial amount of time in the end.
